Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools has an opening for a full-time 1st Grade teacher to begin in August 2024.  WDC Elementary has a recently renovated campus that serves approximately 480 PK-4 students in class sizes that average less than 24 students.  We have a strong team approach to teaching and learning and putting the student's needs first.

Successful candidates would get extensive training/coaching on The Catalyst Approach (formerly ENVoY). The Catalyst Approach is the foundation of our school wide behavior plan and our approach to making healthy connections with kids.

Successful applicant will work to provide and maintain a neat, clean and safe environment for the students, staff and public.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED. Knowledge of building system operations such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting/sound system and basic computer skills preferred.

Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools is accepting applications for Full-time Bus Drivers for the 2023-24 school year.
Working as a school bus driver is an excellent way to earn extra income and deliver a valuable service in the process!
Applicants must be properly licensed to drive a school bus and should enjoy working with young people. If you are not licensed, WDC will PAY YOU while you're being trained!
Full-time drivers qualify for health insurance, life insurance and a pension.
Benefits include:
**$7,200 per year toward health insurance
**New Driver Bonus of up to $1,500
**Retention Bonus of up to $1,800 per year
**$93 per day for regular route pay plus $.26 per mile
**Paid Bus Driver Training (up to 40 hours)

Successful applicants will begin immediately.
