A Message from Mr. Church
Welcome to Wadena-Deer Creek's 5-12 campus. Our beautiful, state-of-the-art facility is home to our 5-8 Middle and 9-12 High Schools. Our campus is home to approximately 600 students, along with a student-centered staff who continually strive to make Wadena-Deer Creek, “A Great Place to Learn and Grow” for our students.
Wadena-Deer Creek Schools continue to offer a comprehensive curriculum and elective program. WDCHS has an extensive concurrent college program with 10 college courses offered totaling 30+ college credits through M|State. Our “Senior to Sophomore” Program offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses while never leaving the building. WDC students can complete their freshmen year of college during their high school time.
We have also made access to technology a top priority in our school. All 5/6 students currently have iPads, and our 7-12 students have Chromebooks to assist in their learning. In addition, our classrooms are all equipped with interactive whiteboards and other technological tools. We continue to update our technology in order to provide our students with the newest and best possible technology available.
Wadena-Deer Creek also offers over 30 athletic, fine arts, and leadership programs for students to participate in. It is our goal to look for ways to provide opportunities for all students to be successful in an inviting school environment. Active students are happy and successful students, so providing these extra opportunities continues to be a mission of WDC.
