Food Services

Food Services is responsible for serving up nutritious meals for WDC students. More than 159,000 lunches and 135,000 breakfasts are served each school year.

Healthy meals feed eager minds. That’s why WDC staff follows an “enhanced food base” program when planning meals. They make sure meals contain a certain amount of fruits, vegetables, grains and proteins, as well as offering a variety of texture and color.

Our school offers healthy meals each day. We have joined Minnesota's Free School Meals program. All students can get one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school. Although no application is required to receive this free meal benefit, filling out the Application for Educational Benefits is still important! Your child(ren) may qualify for other benefits like reduced fees at school. Your application may also help the school qualify for education funds, discounts, and other meal programs.

Applications are available by clicking on the link below, logging into your JMC Family account or by contacting Sue Motzko.

Please note:  Due to supply chain issues, there may be some last-minute changes to our menus.
