FAMILY ECFE CLASSES : For children ages birth to 5: ECFE Family Class is a parent/child class designed to help young children develop socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually, as well as help parents meet the challenges of parenting. Classes held at WDC Elementary School, Room 32. Call ECFE Coordinator/Teacher, Leanne Ries at (218) 632-2364 for info. Cost: $10 per family for full session or $1 per class.

“Storytime at the Library” 

Storytime is BACK IN-PERSON every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Wadena City Library. ECFE proudly sponsors “Storytime at the Library” and is coordinated by Leanne Ries.

WHAT IS EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY EDUCATION OR ECFE?

Every day, parents are doing the most important job -- raising the world’s next generation. This job has both special times and trying times. 

ECFE is a program that provides families with opportunities to enjoy one another, find support and information about parenting and family life and build healthy happy families. ECFE is a place for ALL Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth and Kindergarten.

JOIN THE FUN AT FAMILY FUN NIGHTS! 

These are special evenings where a fun activity is planned for the entire family! Past activities have included fishing at Sunnybrook Park, learning to be a chef, outdoor concerts and making holiday crafts. 

The cost is $1.00 per family per night to cover the supply expenses. Pre-registration is appreciated but not required. To pre-register, call 632-2364. If you get voicemail, leave your name, the number of people attending and your phone number.
