Robotics in building mode
Wadena-Deer Creek Robotics co-coach Shane Snyder, left, shows Ethan Benson where to make a hole in the wood for the frame on the robot, at left. Once the frame is built, bumpers will be attached. The WDC Terminators robotics team is in building mode at WDC High School where students are constructing a robot that will compete in the “Aerial Assault” game in Duluth this March. According to WDC robotics co-coach Mike Shrode, the robotics program is as close to real-life engineering as a student can get.
