WDC Preschool open house is Feb. 27
Do you have a 3-, 4- or 5-year-old ready for preschool? Wadena‐Deer Creek Preschool invites families to attend their open house on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at WDC Elementary. It's an evening set aside for families with preschool-aged children to enjoy a free meal, listen to a short presentation, meet teachers, tour the WDC Preschool classrooms and your children will even get a chance to play in the classrooms!
"We want families to see how WDC Preschool is a wonderful preparation for elementary school. It’s a place where young children can interact, feel safe away from mom and dad, learn and have fun," said Patti Isaacson, WDC Preschool coordinator and teacher.
Some of the skills that children learn at WDC Preschool include: independence, how to get along with others, beginning literacy, language, math, self-help, science and exploration of the arts.
Full and half-day options offered. Bus transportation and after-school child care available.
Plan to attend WDC’s Preschool Open House and a chance to also register your child for the 2014-15 school year. A light meal begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation and tour of classrooms. Area families are encouraged to attend to see what WDC has to offer. The evening is free of charge. Any questions, contact Patti Isaacson at (218) 632-2390.
