ICE CREAM FOR BOOKS A GREAT SUCCESS

The Title I Teaching Staff of Lynda Wosmek, Judy Carlson, Pam Hanson and Shirley Luttrell had a very successful evening for their new school event "Ice Cream for Books".  Students were invited to bring in gently used books for points then trade them in on brand new books.  The November 6th evening at  Wadena Elementary was filled with bingo, storytelling, book shopping and ice cream eating. The attendance was approximately 300 students plus their parents!  The event was very well organized and supported by WDC staff volunteers.
