3rd annual Lunch with Law Enforcement
WDC Elementary PTO is hosting its annual Lunch with Law Enforcement on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Law Enforcement will be in the Elementary Cafeteria from 11:30-1:00, then move to the big gym for a short program.
K-4 Winter Music Program: Join us for music and more on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 1:30 p.m. in the Big Gym. The public is invited to attend. Program directed by Mary Ellenson. Free admission.

WDC TO HONOR ALUMNI WITH HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES! Wadena-Deer Creek High School is proud to announce that they will be celebrating the accomplishments of their alumni with a Wadena-Deer Creek Hall of Fame. Outstanding alumni can be nominated now through May 1, 2018, to be inducted into the inaugural class at the 2018 Homecoming Game on Sept. 28 against the Pelican Rapids Vikings. The WDC Hall of Fame will recognize outstanding participants, coaches, and contributors from the current WDC School District, as well as the former Wadena and Deer Creek districts. Four categories are available. Participants, coaches, teams, as well as an at-large category for those that have made significant contributions in any way to the activities programs at WDC. Sealant Program: WDC Elementary is partnering with the MN School Sealant Program this year to offer preventative dental services to your child for free or greatly reduced price. A licensed dental professional will be offering cleanings, sealants and fluoride varnishes to 2nd and 3rd graders on Feb. 9. If you have dental insurance, these services are completely free. If you do not have dental insurance, your child can receive these services at 70% off usual rates. Wadena Exam Station Temporary Relocation: Effective February 1, 2018, the Wadena exam station will be temporarily moving due to remodeling at the Armory. They will be relocating to the Maslowski Wellness and Research Center. Hours will remain the same. They expect to be at this location for up to one year. Any questions, contact the driver exam station staff at the Detroit Lakes at (218) 846-8270. Testing Days: Written Test: Thursdays 9-11:15 a.m. and 1-3:15 p.m.; Road Test - CDL (Class A, B, C): Thursdays 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.; Road Test - Class D: Thursday 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.

WDC Middle/High School INDOOR TRACK HOURS: M-F: 6am-7:30am and 3:15pm to 8pm, Sundays, 1-3pm. Nine times around the track equals 1 mile! The public is invited to enjoy our indoor track. There may be days it is closed due to games, tournaments or cleaning. Thank you for your cooperation!
