What is Early Childhood Family Education or ECFE?

Every day, parents are doing the most important job -- raising the world’s next generation. This job has both special times and trying times.

ECFE is a program that provides families with opportunities to enjoy one another, find support and information about parenting and family life and build healthy happy families. ECFE is a place for ALL Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth and Kindergarten.

“Storytime at the Library”
ECFE proudly sponsors “Storytime at the Library” every Wednesday from 10-10:30am at Wadena City Library. You are invited to join us for stories, songs, projects and fun. Every family will be given a book as a gift from ECFE. There is no cost for this.

Join the fun at Family Fun Nights!

Ice Cream for Books is a Family Fun Night that children and parents really look forward to! Children can bring their gently-used books from home and exchange them for "new" books. Plus, there's Book Bingo (win new books!), storytelling, and, of course,  cool down with an ice cream treat.
